Lady J Band

Award-Winning Dubai Live Band | 4 & 5-Piece

Lady J Band is an award-winning Dubai-based live band delivering sophisticated, engaging and high-energy entertainment for luxury hotels, corporate events, weddings, gala dinners and premium private celebrations across the UAE.

Fronted by accomplished vocalist Janelle Thomas, Lady J Band combines exceptional musicianship with a distinctive performance style influenced by Jazz, Soul, Funk and contemporary popular music.

With more than 20 years of onstage experience, 2,500+ performances worldwide and a 300-song repertoire, the act brings considerable international experience to every performance. Lady J has been established in Dubai since 2015 and has become a recognised presence within the UAE's live entertainment scene.

One of the band's greatest strengths is its versatility. Lady J Band can move naturally from sophisticated Jazz and Soul through Funk, Disco and Pop into contemporary favourites and energetic party music, allowing performances to develop with the atmosphere of the event.

Familiar songs are delivered with personality rather than simply reproduced, with arrangements that draw on the band's Jazz and Soul influences while remaining accessible and recognisable to a broad international audience.

This makes Lady J Band equally comfortable providing elegant live music for a cocktail reception or gala dinner as they are creating an interactive, dance-floor-focused performance later in the evening.

Their extensive experience includes performances for leading luxury hospitality brands, major international companies and some of the UAE's most recognised events.

Selected clients and events include Atlantis The Palm, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, Mandarin Oriental, Raffles, Anantara, Hyatt, Formula 1, Dubai Watch Week, Dubai International Boat Show, Emirates Dubai 7s, Expo 2020 Dubai, Google and McKinsey & Company.

In 2026, Lady J was recognised with the LUXlife Wedding Music Performance Excellence Award for Best Live Wedding Entertainment & Band, Middle East, further establishing the act within the region's premium wedding and events market. Lady J
