Jay Swash

House DJ & Producer | Groove Driven House, Disco & Underground Influences

Jay Swash is an Abu Dhabi based DJ and producer with a musical journey stretching back to childhood and a deep rooted connection to UK dance music culture.

Learning to mix vinyl from the age of 10 under the guidance of Mampi Swift, Jay developed his understanding of DJing long before stepping into clubs himself. By his teenage years he was already immersed in the Essex scene, progressing through local clubs, beachfront venues and underground events before later performing across Essex and London, including appearances at Oscar's on the Pier, Strawberry Moons and Scruples.

After taking time away from music for personal reasons, a move to Abu Dhabi reignited his passion for the scene. Returning with a fresh perspective, Jay began focusing not only on DJing but also on music production, developing a sound that brings together his old school vinyl foundations with contemporary house music.

Behind the decks, Jay's style is firmly groove focused. His sets move through House, Soulful House, Funky House, Deep House, Nu Disco, Disco and Tech House, built around rolling basslines, soulful elements and energetic club rhythms.

His approach draws on years of dancefloor experience while maintaining a modern sound suited to today's clubs, beach venues and nightlife environments.

Now developing his production catalogue alongside his DJ career, Jay is entering an exciting new phase as a recording artist, with forthcoming music on ReelHouse Records.

His productions continue the groove driven approach found in his DJ sets, bringing together his vinyl roots, years of dancefloor experience and contemporary house influences.

Whether delivering a deeper sunset session, a groove driven house set or moving into higher energy club territory, Jay brings experience, musical knowledge and an instinctive understanding of how to build the atmosphere around the crowd.

Jay Swash is available for DJ bookings across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the wider UAE through Panther Productions.
